If I were a colour palette is not something that quite a lot of people think about but it is something that one of my lectures recently mentioned, that got me thinking what would I look like? Everyone has an identity its something you create for yourself but theres also an identity that other have of you.
There are so many identities out that that we can categories are selves into, especially within fashion culture. These identities can be built on a range of factors such as lifestyle, culture, religion, social standing etc.
Colour is a way of expressing yourself and who you are whether you someone who doesn't care if you wearing pattern and colour, someone who has every shade of black known to mankind, whether nude pastel colours are the key for you or someone who has a little bit of everything depending on what day it is and how they feel.
So here to what I think I look like as a colour palette ....

Yes It would include pink, but no I'm not a girly girly I don't like that bright in your face barbie doll pink but the more subtle muted tones that create a warm, elegant feel. It has almost a grey toning to it that just works with a multitude of other colour, mix it with a monochrome colour scheme and it will make you look like your not dressed for a funeral but mixed along side of pastel shades or even khaki greens and something magical happen, that becomes quite flattering.

The second colour I would say it definitely copper, and there a lot of it around at the moment. I don't necessarily have it located within my wardrobe apart from a handful of necklaces but for me copper is
more of an interior statement, and when it came to picking out prices of my university halls I think I drove my mum up the ways everything had to be copper, copper mirror, copper fairy lights, copper basket even copper containers for my tea and coffer. okay, now I sound like a stereotypical girl but for me copper isn't a harsh colour compared to silver and gold with are quite bright and sometimes look to clean, this metal add a homely appeal for me, the image of being sat by an open fire or the sunset at the end of a summers day.

and why not make my self sound more like part of the current trend but I like clean colours if thats a word you could use to describe it but for me I see grey or shades of grey as a clean colour, it not sterilised like white but theres something about it can put a modern twist on anything within an interior setting but in my wardrobe I find it refreshes a look.
There are so many other colour that I just love, but i genuinely stay away from bright vibrant colour give me a pastle colour palette anyway, but I find that this could be more to do with my personality I'm quite a shy and revered character no really like to be the focus of anything which is what I feel like pastel shades allow. Theres enough colour to be noticed but not to much to be the centre if attention.
